Not circumcision, neutering. They have their balls cut off. Circumcision is a totally different thing. And neutering is important not only to avoid reproduction, but also sexually trasmittable diseases, which are very serious to cats, and also to avoid losing the cat because he will run away to mate if he is not neutered. And to avoid urine spraying in your house, which really stinks.

A circumcision is different from neutering. In circ, you cut off the tip of the you know what, and it has nothing to do with reproduction becuase it is often done when male humans are babies and most can reproduce. Neutering is cutting off the balls where the reproduction hormones, etc. are located. Good job on getting him neutered, there are a lot of irresponsible people on here who don't care about their pets. I am glad you care and are responsible. He should live a long healthy life and will also not piss everywhere:)

Good for you for not wanting your cat to reproduce. You are taking the first step in being a responsible pet owner. Now follow thru with that and call your Vet and make an appointment to have your cat neutered. Then please make sure you keep that appointment. Three cheers for you.

The male needs to be neutered. That surgery removes the cat's sex organs. Your cat will be a better pet if he is neutered, too.

i have never heard of circumcising a cat, and it certainly would not stop it from reproducing! It would however need to be de-sexed, and this is a very responsible thing to do.

Male cats need to be neutered to not be able to reproduce.

Not circumcision. You need to have him neutered. No pain (for you) no problem.

Umm...circumcision? We don't worry about cat foreskin.
Have your cat neutered or spayed!

circumcision?! I think you are thinking of the wrong procedure. You dont circumcise cats. You get them spayed or nuetured.
