He may have been a man, he was nothing else though. An apocolyptyc prophet and really quite a nutter. "abondon everything the end is near", you see these guys out in the street now and laugh.

"Christ" is not a man, "Christ" means anointed and thus this is a state, or achievement of mind's birth in the endeavor to know thy self, so you can know God. So no "Christ" is not a man as "Christ" is a title of being born through the anointing of mind.
If you are referring to Yeshua/Jesus, he was a man like anyone else. And everyone has been with "God" since the being, Yeshua/Jesus is the pattern that man should imitate if they wish to reach the perfection that he did.

Jesus was a man when he walked on earth, however he was the first thing God created before anything else. The Bible calls him the Master Worker, and also his name as an angel is thought to be by many scholars Michael.

He became a man, that is the meaning of "incarnation."
He was the "second Adam." He lived a sinless life as a man, so He could conquer death (sin), and allow us to enter into life as the New Adam. If we remain as a part of the old Adam, we will die in our sin, because flesh cannot inherit Spirit.
That is why it is imperative that we accept Christ, because without Him we cannot be born of spirit, and hence, cannot be with God in heaven.

I believe that while on earth Christ took a man's form as was prophecied. This makes sense since the passover lamb was a male and that lamb prefigured the Christ- it is in perfect harmony. However in the heavens there is neither male nor female.

Yes, Jesus was a man but difference is that, God selected Jesus as a teacher(prophet) for his nation . He taught his followers that, there is only one God and there is no other God except God himself. He also taught that, people should lead their lives as God allowed them to do.

Christ was a man selected by God to take his message to Israel Tribe. They refused him but other people long after his ascension made him god. Which is against his teachings.

God is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Son became flesh. Jesus is God and was made flesh born of a virgin and the Messiah who did atone for the sins of those who accept the atonement.

Remember that before Jesus was flesh, he was the "Word", thus he was God. Jesus is God and not Just a man. John 1: 1, 14. "Before Abraham was, I Am"
