Also these say the same thing...
"The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil" (Prov 16:4 KJV) -- "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" (Amos 3:6 KJV).
Don't pay attention to the people trying to speak it away, they don't understand what is truly being said. If God has a right hand, then he most certainly has a left hand as well, the left hand is correction or karma. Man goes about and wrongs another, but even their action against another has a higher reality to it that transcends our ideas of good and evil. Man can do what he wants but he does not will what he wills. If I were you I read up on the "Clementine Homilies," it explains this reality.

Rightly, Jehovah brought evil or calamity upon Adam for his disobedience. Hence, in the Scriptures, Jehovah is referred to as the Creator of evil or calamity. (Isa 45:7; compare KJ.) His enforcing of the penalty for sin, namely, death, has proved to be an evil, or a calamity, for mankind. So, then, evil is not always synonymous with wrongdoing. Examples of evils or calamities created by Jehovah are the Flood of Noah’s day and the Ten Plagues visited upon Egypt. But these evils were not wrongs. Rather, the rightful administration of justice against wrongdoers was involved in both cases. However, at times Jehovah, in his mercy, has refrained from bringing the intended calamity or evil in execution of his righteous judgment because of the repentance on the part of those concerned. (Jon 3:10) Additionally, in having a warning given, Jehovah has undeservedly provided opportunities for the practicers of bad to change their course and thus to keep living

It's actually words of comfort. It states that God is in charge of absolutely everything. There is nothing that is outside of his control... some would argue that the world is out of control or that Satan is running rampant on earth.
Just because something appears to be running amuck doesn't mean it will forever. The Bible states (Zechariah chapters 12 - 14) that God wins. See Revelation, too. God wins.

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
This verse states by forming light it created darkness by making peace it created evil, Darkness is the absense of light. Evil the absense of peace. God created all things and through the good he created evil came forth.

Hello friend you have to go to the greek on this one, it should be that he created sorrow, adversity, or afflictions, he made these only in the sense that if sin was to come this would be the result of sin which is what we have today.
