Friends five years, all hang out w/ same group. Never right timing, but both like other. This summer gotten "way" closer than ever. When went out, kissed, then stayed up all night talking about it. He's in rlship, she's bad news and in jail awatng crt. He's trying to stick w/ her if she's relsed, but made no promises to her. Sh'll hav 2 do rhb 1st anyway.
We've always had special cnnction, now even closer! I told him how I feel, and didn't expect anything but wanted to be honest. He said w/ her it's lke hes never had b4, but he hates all crap she's put him thru. Plus sh's alone, and he's loyal so doesn't want to just leave her. I understand, but it's kllng me! I love him. He told my sis, he could see us togthr for long run in life, doesnt know I know this. He can't jump into relsnship w/ me if she stays in jail, he'll need time.
I need to know what to do? sh'll hav 30 day rehab then 3 mnth 1/2 way b4 he'd even let her come home. We think he shd leave. What do I do, though? It's so hard

his loyalty is admirable, but i think if he sticks with her, she will end up dragging him down. rehab and halfway houses work only if the person really wants to reform. if she is forced into it by the court, chances are she will revert to her former behavior when she gets out. he would probably be better off moving on.
