Aw, Jacques B., let your gf know that you have been on your best behavior (ahem) today ;^) I am sure she'll be back in your lovin' arms - she's a lucky gal!

she has GOT TO BE christian. if she's not, she simply wouldn't understand who or what i am. sorry to sound closeminded, but i firmly believe that if a couple has a three-way relationship (me, her, and God), there is no capping the potential for growth. on the other hand, if the relationship doesn't involve a common belief, if one of you believes strongly in God, and the other one thinks the concept of God is absolute nonsense, it won't last.

besides that, it's nice to have a strong, intelligent woman who can cook (i looooooooove to eat. lol), argue her point well, and it doesn't hurt to have an artistic/musical streak. my weaknesses have to be her strengths, and vice versa. she needs to be family-oriented and truly love kids, and she needs to be my best friend.

anyways, that's the short version.

peace.

Life partner should be a good soul but not a good body alone. After the initial period of young age, the role of a good soul can only be felt and this is very essential for the ever lasting relationship. Being a good soul she should be having a oceon like big heart, who besides giving love to the partner, can accomodate the infinite water of love of the Almighty Father in heart. Faith and love are two side of the same coin hence none is obstacle for the other.

Lack of faith in each other is the only obstacle I can think of.
I prefer a life partner who won't waste her life trying to change my slovenly ways.

I like them to be smart, funny, understanding, my best friend, my lover, the person who helps me get out of trouble. No, faith is not an obstacle, unless you make it one.

I think any woman who is not a basket case would be a contender.

I've come to learn this is a very short list.

The opposite of mine I suppose. What I lack, he would provide and vise versa.

I don't seek much. Someone who'll put up with me being a jerk. Well, maybe that is asking a lot. *sigh*
(My apologies to Kerroline, my real-life girlfriend, for the massive jerk I am)
