Is it legal to sell/buy unused Walt Disney World tickets? I have might have an extra set of 5 day hopper tickets and want to know if it's ok to sell. Otherwise I will just use them at Disneyland when I get back home.

First of all they are unused. Some answerers are assuming that I will get a finger scan and I won't because these are just extra tickets given to me as part of a package.

Also YES, you can use them at Disneyland. I already confirmed with both WDW and Disneyland parks. You can use WDW tickets at Disneyland but not vice versa.

Lastly: Someone mentioned that I can save them for later use at WDW. If they are unused, (I will never use them to enter any parks) do I have to buy the add-on no expiration? What is the rule about 14 days. Is it from when you check in at your resort OR first day of entry into a park?

Just don't. It's illegal. Those tickets are linked to you at purchase time--especially if you paid by credit card. If your sale is discovered, the tickets will be blocked. Do you really want angry people you don't know coming after you for bad tickets? You'll also be flagged in the system as a trouble maker and may have issues next time you visit a Disney park. It's really not worth the hassle. Save the tickets so you can use them later.

*UPDATE* The 14 day expiration rule sates that the tickets expire 14 days from first use. So, if you haven't used them yet, you don't have to buy the "no-expiration date" option.

As others have said it is illegal to sell them. Just don't do it!

It is a little known fact that you can use Disney World tickets for Disneyland - you won't be able to park hop with them though. Just go to guest services when you get to Disneyland California and they will help you!

You won't be able to use them at Disneyland. Disney World and Disneyland tickets are not interchangeable.

When you pass through the turnstiles on the first day, your fingerprint is recorded and your ticket is associated with your fingerprint. The same person must use all the days on the ticket.

When Disney first came to Central Florida, they got the legislature to pass a law making it illegal to purchase Disney tickets from anyone other than Disney or their authorized agents.

A person in the know probably wouldn't be interested in purchasing them from you. Sorry.

No. It is illegal. Besides, if it is a multi-day ticket, it will end up that the ticket has YOUR NAME ON IT. So if Orlando Bloom were to walk into Pop Century and sign in as Bobby Adkins, that would be wacko.

Nevermind the laws, there are SO MANY tourists that leave their tickets, sell them at the gate, you can sell it for more than you bought them for, since you have to spend the gas and time to go there.
