I'm not trying to convert anyone, I'm just trying to end the animosity.

I despise them and their belief. They are... I'm sorry, freedom of speech is not allowed on this site. I have learned that from experience.

This is what I think about Muslims from their own works!
This is for all you people who think Christians are bad.
And you can do nothing to change my mind about muslims.

This is what Muslims do. Don't be fooled by these American posers. Their duty is to convert the world, like Christians duty, only the difference is Christians are SUPPOSE to do it with more love than I've seen on this forum.

I'm not innocent, I've been angry at the scoffers. But I love all of you.

For 13 th.Answerer " Red Dragon":
Dear sir surah you quated comes in very last part of Qura'n.
There is another surah before this is Surah # 103,Surah Al-Asr.
The Message of Surah Al-Asr (Part 1)
Allah says: “By time! Surely the human being is at loss. Except for those who have faith and do righteous deeds and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to patience.” [Sûrah al-`Asr]

So in very polite way God Almighty is saying, Every believing person has this basic duty to call others towards truth / good deeds and teach patience if they may face problems. And there are more places God Almighty conveyed almost same message.

You do not need to force any one. And when you see some is agressive and has no intention to accept truth you just leave matter with God Almighty and that person.

All the Messengers and Prophets of God did the same. They were just calling towards truth and teaching good things informing about bad results of bad deeds, thats it.

Say: Our Lord Grant us increase in Knowledge {Surah Taha, verse # 114}

I agree with some of what Lotus Europa says about some Muslims on this site.
Especially the part about the cutting and pasting of their verses.

There are several Muslim doctors where I work and they are polite, very competent and professional and do not discuss their religious beliefs at work. I guess they pray on their breaks which is their business not mine.

We did have one Muslim doctor who discussed her religion and was asked to resign after several complaints from our patients.

She tried to sue for discrimination but in our employee handbook it specifically states no proselyting one's religious beliefs on the job and she lost her case.

There are good and bad muslims. "Islam" doesn't really claim to be a new religion. Muhammd claimed that it was a very ancient way of life communicated to humans even before Abraham. After Muhammads death, once Islam was turned into a state-religion by the khalifs though, it was advertised as new and different in order for some to cash in on its power in those days.

I would say get to know a few (non-radical/non-self-gratifying) muslims, and you will see their everyday problems and fears and loves are just like yours.

In Love and Light.

I have quite a few Muslim friends and my fiance is Muslim. Honestly they are the most devout religious people I know, the most caring, the nicest and the most charitable. Hostilities grow because too many ignorant people think every Muslim is evil because of the actions of a small percentage. They also don't seem to care that many Muslim countries have no terrorists living there. As to what Lotus Europa said about the ones on here being hypocritical and serious. They are not. They are bombarded with hate on this site every day, yet they don't answer back in rudeness they answer back with respect and give their viewpoint just as the rest of us do. It is time for people to stop all this stupid judging and accusing.

As with any religion, there are good and decent muslims and there are hypocrites. In addition to these, there is a sincere group of people who really think that it's a good idea to carry out acts of violence in the name of their religion.

I like the decent ones. I dislike the hypocrites. And I believe that those who wish to engage in violent acts in the name of God should be wiped off the face of the planet.

I wish I didn't have to think that. However, Islam postulates a world where the world of Islam and the world of unbelief are constantly in conflict. In fact, the names given to these areas, "dar al-Islaam" and "dar al-Harb" mean "Land of Islam" and "Land of War". Do you see the implication of this? There are the lands governed by Islam, and everything outside of them is the land where we engage in war to subjugate and incorporate it into the harmonious whole united under the banner of Heaven.

People like that can't be trust to engage lawfully in a pluralistic society. Pluralism runs completely counter to their notion of what religion truly is.

You can't really change my mind. Like I said, there's room for the decent and good - even for the hypocrites. The moment someone picks up a gun to take away the free choice of other people, though, they need to die.

Wa Allahu alim,

Lazarus

Islam is the only religion whose tenets stand to scientific scruitiny.. Prophet Mohammad(peace be upon Him) did not do miracles like walking on water, healing lepers, changing water to wine (as Christians claim). Mohammed also did not go to every hill top to worship an idol (as Hindus do it).
Prophet Mohammed lived a life like a human being and preached what He had practised.
Islam is a good religion.

sorry - too much to mention!

EDIT - I should add that it is not the believe system that I am disgusted with , it is the killing - and the killing -and the killing! your religion doesn't bother me and it is not for me to judge ,but it will be if killing is part of your religion!

would you send your own child into jihad?
would you perform an honor killing?
would you plot horrible bombs to hurt 100"S or even thousand"s?
will you deny me that I have a point?
will you openly admit that what I just said is true?

I wish you peace , love and compassion!

I don't hate anyone...but I would say that the main reason some would reject Muslims in our Country is that they tend to be very bad pilots!
