Why do they not believe? It is my personal belief that God and the Holy Spirit help people in finding the truth, but I have met other Christians on here that say that is not true. What do you think? Don't you find it frustrating at times when you think about how many people have closed their minds off to their truth? How can we be so vain to think we know it all?

Ok ..... now you mentioned your truth is the real truth, therefore you do not bother to look from the other side of the fence. Who is the person with a closed mind now?
Most Atheists I know were ex-christians, therefore I think they had an open mind, unlike yourself who had closed your mind to alternative view then proclaim others who do not share your beliefs as closed mind.
How can YOU be so vain to think YOU know it all? Atheists and Agnostics do not claim to know everything, that is why they are constantly trying to find out more. Christians, like yourself, tend to THINK you had found the truth and therefore stop pushing yourself to find out more, but get stuck in your small well and think that that is the world and the truth.

America is a Christian Based country. And so many people of the world equate Christianity with the American Political and Economic Machine. We Say in GOD we trust just before we execute a prisoner or kill someone in the name of freedom and justice. Does not the belif of the other soul count? Christianity is one of the youngest religions but has killed and pillages so many in the Name of the Bible or a God in the image of Washington, Lincoln & Jefferson. The Scripture says Jerusalem which at the time was Africa and so why is Jesus in the image of our former leaders. I understand it just like when we turn on the TV why is it that 1% of non white has representation. Its simple its about controlling the minds of the masses to engage extreme wealth for the few on the backs of the many and has no direct connection but on paper.

No one knows for sure what the truth is. We may all be wrong, so just follow your beliefs and let others do the same.

I'm not, I only know the way I believe to be right for me. I really do not spend my days worrying about what others believe.

What makes you think you haven't closed your mind to the truth? I was raised Christian, I really believed in it, then I decided to look at everything logically, and I realized I couldn't believe in a God that would separate friends and family simply because of what they believed in.

You believe your way is the only "truth", right? God bless you in your beliefs....but please understand that there are more non-Christians in the world that Christians. Their truths are the only way for them as well....take a look at the world view of religion...this might help you to better understand why so many people are not Christians!

Let me see.
Some of us have other beliefs. Some of us just have a different approach to Jesus, PBUH.
I would say your mind is closed to the truth of free will and choice that God/Allah gave us when it comes to freedom of worship.
If you feel everyone is missing out by not being Christian, are you not exhibiting this vanity you mention in your last question about thinking you know it all?

Because God does not want most people. It's a Biblical fact.
John 6:44
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Romans 9
27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:
"Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea,
only the remnant will be saved.
28 For the Lord will carry out
his sentence on earth with speed and finality."
Many Christians are taught that God wants everyone, and so with a lack of discernment they spend much time with those who treat the word of God cheaply.
As Jesus left those in John 6 behind, so we are also to leave those not chosen to be the vessels God made them.

Because the rest of the world (which is the majority, by the way) understand that you guys are out of your minds.
And of course you have the problems of every religion has, which is the you believe in fairy tales and you think being delusional is sacred.
You are one of the most violent and neurotic religions of all time.
The question isn't "why are people not Christians." The question is why ARE people Christians?

Talk about closed minded, if you were open minded(I don't think you are) you wouldn't be asking this question! And don't call people close minded until you figure out you a hypocrytical closed minded person too!
