There are certain vitamins & minerals that are needed for your immune system to work. B vitamins, selenium, zinc, and probably a few more. You get these from veggies--green, leafy veggies, the darker the better (like broccoli). Or from a vitamin pill.

Boosting your immune system is a combination of factors that range from decreasing your stress level, increasing your exercise and feelings of well-being, getting enough sleep and eating nutritious foods. Vitamin B Complex is a great vitamin for immune systems and you can spend a small fortune on health foods that promise to improve your immune system, but they'll fall somewhat short because of the complexity of the issues involved in keeping your immune system in tip top shape. If you are undergoing more stress, then boost up your B Vitamins and C Complex. More importantly, however, is to eat a balanced diet of nutrient rich foods. A diet balanced with protein, complex carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables is best. You might want to consult with your doctor about nutrition, or go online to one of the health and fitness sites to read more about it.
