when i play a music in windows media player it says that there is a problem on my sound device in there is no soundcard detected or avilable on my pc.. how can i fix these kind of pc problem related to sound card and sound device.?

1. Right-click "My Computer" and hit "Properties". Go to the Hardware tab and click device manager. Do you see your sound card? If it has a yellow question mark, or has a red X on it, it does not have a proper driver installed, or is disabled. If it is disabled, try enabling it. If it has no drivers, you must download and install drivers for it, usually from the manufacturer's website.
2. If the device is working properly, try reinstalling DirectX. You can download the setup for it from the Microsoft website.
