exta virgin olive oil for everything except deep frying. i like the taste.

It's always Extra Virgin Olive Oil for cooking. But, for frying I always use Peanut Oil. It's got a higher smoking point than vegetable oil and I think it tastes better.

I mix canola oil with about 25% olive oil... The olive oil soaks into food quicker and it also loses a lot of it's health benefits when it's cooked, but by using some, you still get the great flavor.
You can blend canola with anything (sesame, olive, peanut), like vodka and get the flavor you want.

Olive oil, better flavor, better quality than other oils for cooking. Deep frying should be a mixture of canola, olive, and peanut oil. For saute', mix oive oil and butter, it gives it a richer flavor.

olive oil for 95% of the stuff I cook. though if I am baking or frying stuff, I use canola oil. Olive Oil burns at hotter temps, so if I am pan frying something, I will usually use canola that has a higher burn temp.

EVOO, of course! Extra virgin olive oil. It has a wonderful fruity flavor that adds to your food. I use it for just about everything. Unless the recipe calls for only veg. oil. I even use it in salads and on bread. Yumm-o

olive oil is insanely expensive in singapore so i use canola instead. the colour is quite light. i heard that the more yellow or dark gold the oil is, the more it is unhealthy.
