i want to get a scholarship from gymnastics but i dont want to do gymnastics in college could i still get the scholarship without bing on the college team?

No. The whole point of sports specific scholarships is to get people for the team. There are rules for people who are offered one, make the team, then get injured, etc., but do you want to fake that?

No. Athletic scholorships are given to get you on their team. So, typicall they're not offered soley for achievement in high school, but as an incentive for you to compete for the college.

The only exception would be if you won a scholorship from some sort of competition...but I'm not aware of any gymanstics competitions that give out scholorships.

No, because otherwise, it will defeat the whole purpose of them giving you a scholarship for gymnastics.
