how much do they cost? where can i find someone to administer it? and how accurate is it?

someone is accussing me of a crime and i want to take the test cause i know im innocent.

They start at about $400. Check the yellow pages. They are on the money for most people. I told the guy taking the test i never smoked pot. It showed I was dishonest. Then I told him I did not inhale. I got the job anyway.
Tell the slob accusing you of a crime to take one with you. If they are right you pay for both if you are right the slob pays for both. I'll bet the slob backs down!

Lie detector tests are administered by law enforcement agencies but the results are not admissible in court as evidence. It is only used to establish a fact or to confirm something that is being investigated.

See your lawyer first. They are inadmissible in a court of law in most jurisdictions except under some very specific circumstances. They are not all that accurate even though some people will try to convince you that they are. Persons who are habitual liars or sociopaths can generally beat them with no problem.

The FBI was always the ones that gave me lie detector tests but your local police could probably suggest someone to use.
