sometimes he's away for months at a time, working 24hrs and his job is very physical

Just be there for him. Encourage him to look elsewhere for work. It may take awhile. Of course he's tired - he HATES his work! Be kind. and patient. If you love him, warmly push him in a directon that will make him happy.

Aww you need to give him back rubs and foot massages when he gets off of work. Light some candles and incense and help him relax. tell him that he does a great job and if he really hates it, help him find another one. Take care of your guy!

There is not much you can do. It is up to him to decide if he is going to stay with this job and be miserable or look for another job, then move on.
A massage will help him feel better.

if you like him enough, you should support him and love him. offer to rub his feet and baby him! if you dont like him that much.. dump him. if the relationship isn't going to go anywhere that is. otherwise, he's better off with somebody who wants to give him all that attention. some people are just born to please the one their with.. and some want the attention. neither is bad, its just your personal preference.

when he comes home, cook him a nice dinner once and a while, back massage, maybe just sit and cuddle with him and just talk?
