LUCKY YOU ON HAVING AN AVACADO TREE!
if i were u, i would buy a large bag of tortilla chips, and make up all the guacamole dip that u can with all of the avacados, and just take it into work and leave it there your entire shift, so ppl can snack on it all day long. it will be gone before u know it.

If I only eat 1/2 then I leave the pit in the other half, wrap in plastic wrap and stick in fridge for a couple days.

do you mean while they are in the skin? i dont think there is much you can do then, but use them up. otherwise if use them in a recipe, you need to add acid such as lemon juice or throw the pit in there. this will prevent browning.

Well, not unpeeled, but I do know once you peel them you can keep them from getting brown by adding some citrus juice to them and they will stay nice until you are ready to use them.
