Why ask a stranger when as a Christian you can go before the Father for answers? The Bible is full of all the promises of God which have everything to do with your future.

Malachi: If you tithe and make offering he will open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there is not room enough to receive it.

He wants you healthy, happy, and whole and he has a plan for your life that requires faith in Him, and he knows the desires of your heart - after all he put them there , he designed you.

So if you seek Him and learn about Him you will already be on the best path for your life. So who needs an astrologer?

Satan is the great deceiver and he deals in deception which often contains just a glimmer of truth - that's why it deceives. ...... so how do you know what voice the astrologer is listening, to? Why not skip the middle man and go straight to God in the first place. No room for error that way..........

Well, the Bible says you're not supposed to, but even as a Christian, I'm not sure that the Bible is truly God's rules and God's word. It was written by humans, after all. However, even if you're not a Christian, why would you consult an astrologer? I hate to tell you, but they probably don't know any more about your future than you do. If you want to know about your future, strive for your goals and make them happen. If you see an astrologer, they'll take your money while making vague predictions that could fit anyone's life. "I see a change in your future..." Then they'll ask you questions to glean more information from you, only going forward when you have given them enough to make a reasonably vague prediction.

Astrology indicates influences coming into your life. Astrologers that claim to predict the future are frauds.

Christianity has had an on again, off again relationship with astrologers. There was a time even popes consulted astrologers (particularly during the Renaissance).

Read Deuteronomy, or websites like these:

From: http://www.konig.org/astrology.htm

I have a co-worker who keeps telling people that the three wise men were astrologers because "they read the signs in the heavens and followed the North Star." I cringe every time I hear her say that, and I have, on several occasions, corrected her. Why she insists on perpetuating this lie is anybody's guess, but apparently she heard it in some Bible study, and therefore it must be true. Unfortunately, she's not the only one who's doing it. There are many people are out there spreading misinterpreted gospel, and the bottom line is, it's dangerous.

Not if you want to be true to your bible...

Leviticus 19:31
" 'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 20:6
" 'I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people.

Leviticus 20:27
" 'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.' "

Deuteronomy 18:11
or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.

2 Kings 23:24
Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the temple of the LORD.

1 Chronicles 10:13
Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance,

Isaiah 8:19
When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?

Isaiah 19:3
The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will bring their plans to nothing; they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists.

Jeremiah 27:9
So do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your interpreters of dreams, your mediums or your sorcerers who tell you, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon.'

As astrology does not work, cannot make predictions and has no evidence to support it whatsoever, the only thing wrong with consulting astrologers is that you are wasting your money.

Not if you are christian , they believe there is only one with power, they don't believe in finding out the future or dealing with astrology, you might be better with the wiccan religion.

Try reading the book of Revelation instead. The Lord will reveal your own personal future through it.

Most definitely. The Three Wise Men were astrologers...that's how they could predict the birth of Christ.

Be well,
