I work out all the time, and I'm having a scope surgery on my labrum tendon and I was wondering how much I could lose muscle wise during the recovery process. I plan on staying active like walking and eating healthy, but is there something I could do to help keep my muscle mass? Thanks for all your help.

I just had a left shoulder arthroscopic decompression last January which included repair on one of the proximal bicep tendons. I underwent about two months of therapy and I,m back to normal now. If you are young you will recover more quickly. You will be under general anesthesia but no hospital stay. If they start early in the morning you should be home by noon.
