truth, One needs to discern familiar spirits (worldly, ungodly or demonic spirits). But soul/spirit isn't spirit alone or soul alone. Worldly spirits are just a soul or spirit. Soul/spirit is associated with God & born again saints in heaven or earth. So the ultamite intimate marriage love is oneness of body, soul & spirit. Also, to consider the Winged Cherabims in the Kingdom of God. They are spirits or are they spirit/souls. I am sure the fallen angels are just spirits or souls.

Yes, my wife......... and after 28 years we continue to grow closer still. This is because our commitment is to God and that has carried us through the times where we didn't necessarily like each other much but we wanted to glorify God with our marrage.

A very personal moment from my past with my now-wife that I would love to share.
My wife is trained as an astronomer (among other things) and her favorite star is Aldebaran.
Once when we were dating we were driving along and lost our way. The sky was dark with clouds (though no rain) at this time. As we wound down this unfamiliar road, we found this pier jutting out into an adjacent lake and stopped and walked down it. As we reached the end of the pier we looked up and the clouds parted above us. Through the opening, my wife identified the brightest star in the center as Aldebaran.
Some people, of course, might interpret these events as a sign of God. I can understand that perspective but the strongest connection I felt at that moment was with the woman I have fallen in love with countless times since.

My husband and I have been married for 32 years and this sort of connection between us is absolutely amazing sometimes! Just last week I was thinking how nice it would be if we bought a boat (we live 8 miles from a large and beautiful lake). I was thinking I would shop around this week.....then tonight my husband called me (he works away from home on construction) and said he had seen a boat for sale at a good price and would I like to have it! ------ This is a mundane example of a deeper connection we have.....And, yes, it is very intimate!

And St Paul (Ephs 4:16) said until we all reach to the UNITY OF THE FAITH...Thus, the Christians in the spirit are one with everyone as the spirit is not bounded by time and space; and that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is the ONE WHO breaches the walls of divisions and walls of hostility. In contrast to satan's divide and conquer strategy.

Yes.
It's easiest with those we love but it can happen with groups, (often in meditation), and with individuals we care about.
Eventually, as the Coyote say, we may get to experience that with all of creation.
