Hmmm, I guess telling you that ghosts can't hurt you would be a little pointless. I suppose you could do a blessing upon your room and maybe that would help you feel less afraid.

Those are scary thoughts. I remember when I was about your age (can't remember exactly how old I was) I was so scared of ghosts too. I was afraid I would see one, so I kept my eyes closed tightly..then afraid I wouldn't see it since I wasn't looking, lol.. Funny now, but not funny then. Here's what I did..I began a "novel" in my mind at night to take my mind off of ghosts. I imagined a story (of course I was a main character)..and it got so interesting, that I continued the story each night. This really helped me.

I had that fear before. Sometimes I would stay in the living
room to watch TV and then when walking to my room I
would feel scared because I felt something was watching
me. Sometimes i feel scared but I know that everything
is okay because someone is taking care of me and
protecting me (God). If you don't believe this will probably
not help you, but I really hope you find something that will.
:p Bestest luck, from someone who has been there. :p

Fear spirits are demons. Jesus came and delivered people from demons. So, who soever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.
When the demon scares you, pray to Jesus. Ignor the demon. Ask Jesus why the demon is there? Ask Jesus to forgive you for any sins you may have done. Thank Jesus His shed blood has cleansed you from all sin. Thank Jesus that His blood cleanses your room. Tell the devil to leave in the power of the Name of Jesus Christ your Savior & Lord. Then renew your mind in the Word of God to replace the words of fear. The trick is to submit to God (Pray, obey, listen to God, pay attention to God), resist satan, Satan flees. Satan is scared when even the youngest child of God prays to God. Check out http://www.fatherloveletter.com .
I have had pretty scary visitations years ago. It took me a while to figure this out. And many times, I would open a door to it by seeing a scary movie, or something like that. Once, I painted a picture for someone who suffered. A female demon was in my dream & I woke up & stared right at her. I rebuked her & told her to leave in Jesus Name & to never bother my friend who I paint picture for again either. I prayed & took about 1/2 hr befor it left. But now I know to submit to God, ask God why, & sometimes it is because someone else needs prayer. Just remember, Submit to God, resist satan & satan flees.
Also to encourage you to listen to Godly music or good music. Nothing that is a negative message or sounds demonic. That will just encourage demons.

Anyone that has had a life moving experience will almost never fully get over it. It is like seeing a scary movie, on a much smaller level, for the first few days or weeks, people are deathly afraid. That's on a smaller scale tho.

Try praying. Fear is not of God. In the Bible, it says"Ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father". (Romans 8:15). Fear is bondage. Satan is behind it. The good news is God is more powerful than Satan. You need to get on His team. Read the New Testament. Ask God to reveal Himself to you. Be willing to repent of any sin in your life. Ask Jesus to forgive you and come into your life as your Lord and Savior. He loves you. He died for you. He rose again. He's coming back. I'll pray for you.

Why don't you try learning as much about ghosts/spirits as you can? Sometimes learning about your fears will help lessen them.

You can not find a physical answer to a spiritual problem.
Why do I think your problem is spiritual?
Well, because fear is a spirit.
Let me share with you what scriptures say about Fear:
2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
If you belong to Christ Jesus God has not given you a SPIRIT of fear--instead he gives you POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND.
Anyone who wants to overcome fear completely must submit to the Lord Jesus Christ as their LORD and savior. Ask God for forgiveness and for Him to save you. Then ask God for his power, love and for a sound mind. When you are fearful you do NOT have a sound mind.
In Revelations the very first individuals listed as condemned to hell as those who are fearful:
Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
Why does God judge those who are fearful? Because it the very opposite of faith and love.
1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
We need God's perfect love--we can only have this by accepting him as our Lord and obeying Him:
Remember the Bible states in 1 John 4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
When you accept Jesus as your savior you are free from the spirit of bondage again to fear--instead you are given the Spirit of adoption--and God is your Father.
Romans 8:15, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."
The fear of man is a great bondage--Proverbs 29:25, "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe."
But when we walk with Jesus we can proclaim:
Hebrews 13:6, "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."
Nothing will ever be able to separate us from the Love of God towards us:
Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
No matter what we face--as a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ we never need to fear evil:
Psalms 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
When God, the Father in Heaven is your Father he will protect, lead and guide you when you submit to him--
James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Accept Jesus as your Savior and submit yourself to God--proclaim that you are now resisting the devil and rebuke him in Jesus name!
May God richly bless all who read this.
