I wish I could stand outside of a gate, but I live in Ohio, there are no military bases around here.

LoL here are a few ways:
Move near a military installation and hang out at the clubs, churches, Bars, and Gyms.
Try dating services online such as:
http://www.militaryfriends.com/
http://www.militaryspot.net/
Go into yahoo chat or other chats and go to the military chats.
Hope you find what you are looking for and this is a good way to start.

Are you in the northern Ohio area? Then volunteer to help out at the USO lounge at the Cleveland airport or at the Military Enlistment Processing Center in Broadview Heights.
Maybe you're in Central Ohio. There's a USO lounge at Columbus airport. South? There's a USO lounge at Dayton airport in Vandalia. All are crawling with good looking military men.

I guarantee you that there are people from your home town in the military and chances are great that one or more of them is good looking...although that guarantees nothing about character.
Your newspaper probably runs a regular section about locals in the military. Check it out.
Write to Ann Landers and tell her that you want a military pen pal.
Visit your local recruiting office and ask them how you could become an email buddy of a serviceman.
Check out the ROTC program at your local university.

Really, if you're just out to get a 'good looking' man in uniform and that's it - seriously...you're pathetic.
It's not all 'wine and dine' with military people, and if that's what you're looking for, then it's a waste of your time.

You better have a really good idea of what it's like to be in a military relationship. It is NOT all "wine and roses" - don't romantacize what it takes to get through all the time alone.

adopt a soldier, be a pen pal.... make sure hes single,don't wanna get urself or him into trouble. I also agree with proud navy wife, it not easy. Its tough , lonely and ur always just the spouse. Its not for the weak. But oh so full of pride.
