ive been playing guitar for about 4 months.these are a few of the songs i Can play.i can play all of the solos with in each song,even the hendrix ones.I cant do all of the solo for the Cream song tho.i can play almost all of the stuff in the "heavy guitar bible".I can do Basic arppegios and about 25 blues scales wich i incorperate in my playing.i was thinking of starting a band

i would definantly call you a decent guitarist, especially for 4 months. if you do join a band (or start one) make sure you dont quit practicing and learning. Never quit learning.

if all of that is true (which i don't think it is 'cause i've been playing for 3 years and only was able to play those songs after 8 months of playing) then yes you'd be a good guitarsist. butmost of those songs are simple and easy. nirvana is easy to play, sunshine of your love is easy, purple haze is easy,system of a down blows i wont bother trying to find out if their songs are simple, i dont care for Marilyn manson but i hear they're easy songs, and i odnt know who alice in chains is. but if you can play some of those songs after only 4 months then yeah you're pretty good. but i'll only believe you if you put you playing them on youtube.

I think that's phenonomal! I've been playing for almost a year and I still cant do most of those songs!

it matters if u can play the songs full speed, like play along with the song at full speed. but never stop practicing or learning. i've been playing for about 3 years and i have never stoped learning

id say yeah, those are mostly songs i play
great for four months
some great songs to learn are
stairway to heaven- led zeppelin (my favorite to play)
enter sandman- metallica
iron man- black sabbath
californication- red hot chili peppers (im not a huge peppers fan, and this song is pretty easy, but its great for just somthing to whip out when your bored)
black dog- led zeppelin (a bit tricky, but really great)
those are some of my favorites, hope you like them
