We have an exchange student staying with us from Guadeloupe. She is trying to call home and we cannot get the numbers to work. Any suggestions on placing calls to this area? or where we can find answers?

You have to dial the international access code ... 011
Followed by the country code for Mexico ... 52
Followed by the 2-3 digit long distance code for the city
Followed by the 7-8 digit local phone number

If you're calling a mobile number in Mexico, you have to include a 1 after the 52.

Or, you can call the operator and have them dial it for you. But, they charge for this.
