There is research that says that cats can absorb the electromagnetic energy from computers to keep it from harming their owners. The cats are unharmed by the energy. This is just a theory.
My cats won't leave me alone when I'm on the computer either. I think part of it is the motion of my fingers typing and the sound of my "quiet" keyboard. It happens to almost everyone I know who owns a cat and a computer. HA, ha, here comes Ms. Jesus now to sit right in my view of the screen!

I know the feeling. I would ignore the bad behavior and reward the good behavior just like with a child.
I love when my cat comes and sits on my laptop keyboard and then i get this on my screen:

Maybe you and i should set up, play date's for our cats. Yeah mine get's all cranky at night's when i log on......

Enroll him in a Microsoft certification course. Then when your computer crashes he can fix it for you!

Its normal...i do the same when my girlfriend is lookin' up Johnny Depp pictures on my computer...........i can completely relate with wut ur cat thinks about u on the computer......i gotta get off now.....she's back!
