A wad! If you're single, the tax liability wouldn't be too bad by itself -- around $500 or so -- but since you improperly claimed EXEMPT status you could be hit with a $500 penalty for an improper W-4 filing. And as it seems that you didn't file your return yet, there will be penalties for late filing as well as penalties and interest for late payment. It could easily add up to $1,500 or more.

Maybe nothing, maybe quite a bit. If you're single and don't have any dependents, don't itemize deductions, and don't have any large adjustments to income, figure several hundred at least, maybe a lot more.
