Just as the light slowly filters in at daybreak and the darkness gradually slips away so too will light shine brighter and more radiantly encompassing one heart then the next until all unite hands and welcome the day's light in song and dance. And thus a new journey begins and the light continues to brighten and fill hearts ...rippling across the planet one kind word and warm smile after another...until at last all sense the unity and cosmic divinity that is so multi-dimensional.
Then we shall all sip tea together and know the answers to the questions and will invent a new game to explore. :-D

There are alternatives - You could have one thing ending and many other things starting all at the same time. You can have a whole host of things ending and absolutely nothing starting at all - see the Buddhist idea of "The Bardot" (not the famous French actress in this context)
Then again you can have lots of things ending and lots of other things starting - life is very creative!
As for craving ending - it could be nihilistic but only if you imagine all pleasure comes from craving. Its best to find out what healthy alternatives there are to craving before getting rid of it.

the end of one day is the beginning of the next no matter if you are on earth to experience it or not. after a year the earth is right back to where it started the year before. i think the universe works in the same way.

In the current quantum model of the eleven dimensional universe, there is no beginning or end to anything. Everything that appears to be beginning or ending is just flipping through ninety degrees of the available phase-space.

Yes, the end of one thing always is followed by the beginning of a period of time in which that which just ended no longer exists

All beginnings and endings arise out of the stillness of Now. Mind forms it's own beginnings and endings, otherwise there would be no experience. It's all 'happening' inside Consciousness.

No, everything kind of just ends and crashes and burns and dies at one point or another (metaphorically. And then you continue to live without a purpose because you never had one, and then, eventually, you die (not metaphorically).

Yes. That is Taoism.
From the human perspective, a new piece of furniture is much admired, but from that of a tree, it means death.
