You should talk to him about it. I would be hurt if I was in your position.

This is an interesting question because I've been confronted about it myself. I'll tell you why I left mine as single. Not because I'm out there or available, but because I'm not engaged or married and I really don't want everyone all up in my business if it doesn't work out. Yes, it's been years now, but I just don't want my 'friends' (not all of them are close friends) in on my personal life so much. Listen, I took relationship status off of facebook, but you can't remove it from MySpace.
So, here are possible reasons: He just wants everyone to mind their own business (privacy), he hasn't noticed it. People can check their page and not update their profile in like years and years. I've seen countless (men esp.) just never think about updating their personal info and have to be reminded by their women.
I think it bothers my boyfriend that I don't change it on MySpace, but I don't like the questions, plus I know his ex fb checks my page and I just like the fact that it messes with her mind.

Heck yes. Anyway has he gone on his facebook or myspace recently? Or more like does it check it often? He could have simply over looked changing it. You should talk to him about it before feeling hurt.

You should be really upset - esp. if you've been dating for 2 years. Ask him to change it - it could be an honest mistake.
If he doesn't get a reason as to why he won't change it(maybe he is trying to use facebook/myspace to meet other girls) - dump him.
Life is short - eat dessert first!

Totally normal feelings. If he respected you then he shouldnt hide the fact that he is with you from anyone or anything. I would **** bricks all over his ***. Why not.... I mean if you have a my space then you do it too. Im telling you my space ruins life girl. Or maybe he is aware that you are with him,but just want to make friends on the website. Best thing is to confront and check his ***. Or you post a comment and say you are his lady or pimpen his ***. Give him a taste of his own medicine....
Just tell him how you feel and that it hits the spot. Be real and let him know.....

Rewrite Me, you have ever right to be upset if you've been seeing someone and they are embellishing the truth about it. You must feel very hurt to think that someone that you've shared so much with lies to others about what his status is. A good talk with him is what I would suggest and ask him why he is fabricating this tale. Then it's up to you if you accept his explanation or if you decide to give him a travel card and try and find someone whom will treat you with more respect. Best of luck.

its just myspace and its just facebook. neither of those are important. better question to wonder and worry about. when he is around his friends does he refer to u as ur gf or just a friend?
myspace and facebook are pointless piece of $hit sites that just cause so much drama.

If you are not married, then why should you be angry? Don't jump to any conclusions, he may have just answered the question to this the way he thought at the time. He isn't married so single was the logical choice..

Who cares! MySpace and Facebook is not real life -- do these really matter to you? They wouldn't to me.

nowadays, guys don't really care about the status on websites like that. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, as long as you guys are together in real life.
