yes it will come to an end as we know it. but the good news is there will be a new heaven and a new earth and it will be filled with all believers in Jesus Christ and children.
The way it will come to an end is by war.

Well, Science says no matter what it will end with the sun going Nova
There is always that asteroid due to come close and possibly hit us between 2025 and 2035.
There is also global warming, it could put a serious damper on us.
There is always the possiblity of nuclear war.
Land war.
Oil is going to become scarce in 200-300 years, there is liable to be wars over oil reserves.

the End of the World is the end of satan trying to run Everything through Human Beings.
It is a Good Thing.
For a 1000 Years.
There will be Wars too, and that is sad.
But, the World (Earth and Human Beings) WILL NOT END or be TOTALLY DESTROYED.

Eventually, The sun will expand into a red Giant star and expand to the orbit of Mars. Earth will be the third piece of charcoal from the center.

Yes but not in the manner that religious people claim that it will.
There are many doom day predictions but the one that is very probable is having an asteroid collide with the earth.
Do not worry there is not going to be the rapture as religious people tend to assume

Of course it will end. I just don't believe it will end during my lifetime. I'm not sure exactly how everything will end, but i know it'll somehow happen with a major storm.
