they only sell 1 size pen its to small for 2 17lbs dogs what can i do for them at the camp site cant leave them home

You can join two (or 3 or 6) of the standard x-pens togher...
Stake them down or the dogs may flip it over & thus get out

At camp, you do need to chain them up. You need a long leash and a comfortable collar. If you go hiking or something, take them with you!!! Its great for your dogs to get exercise, fresh air, and smell new smells. Beagles are born to be outdoors. They were bred as bird hunting dogs, so they love to run and walk. I have a weiner dog/ chiwawa mix, and when i take him camping, his weiner dog (also a hunting breed) comes out. Good luck, and remember. If you leave your dogs at the camp site, make sure they are in a safe place, give them plenty of food and water, and don't worry! Beagles are one of the way smarter breeds of dogs, and if in trouble, its in their genes to find a way. Oh yeah. And a zip line is a great alternative to a straight leash if you feel bad.

If you take them out for walks several times a day,they should be OK,if it's just while you're camping. Otherwise,try a boarding kennel. Oh,and the zip line is a good idea,if you make sure to have a strong cable,and that they have collars with ID tags in case they would get loose.

Thought about a zip line? It's not as restraining as just chaining them up. You could try using this for them during the day and just putting them in the exercise pen at night.

It sounds like it might better for the dogs for you to board them. Or have a pet sitter stay at your house with them.
