Uh, would you care to explain why the climate was not compatible for the dinosaurs? In fact, we have excellent climate data for the entire period that Creationists claim the earth has existed. From 7000 years ago until 2000 years ago (when Jesus allegedly lived) the climate was constant, pleasant, and warm. There then began a gradual cooling trend but, again, that was during the time of Jesus.
Therefore, whenever you claim the flood event occurred, the weather was the same before and after. So, if the there was no climate change, how could that be responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs?
The answer of course is that Creationists are in denial of the reality-based world. A psychological and intellectual handicap they magnify by also being scientifically illiterate.
Are you aware that modern medical Doctors are Practitioners of Evolutionary Theory? Do you know that without the scientific theory of evolution, medical science (and every life science) collapses and all biological knowledge is false? That means that medical science and medicine are no more than the mystical voodoo practiced by Witch Doctors.
Can we assume, therefore, that you never go to a doctor or use any of the evolution-based medical knowledge and technology that most of us trust and rely on? Because if you do rely on modern medicine, that would make you … well, a hypocrite.

Although science says that dinosaurs were no longer around when man came upon the scene, archeological artifacts tend to make some think differently. There are clear drawings of what can be described as dinosaurs on cave walls in various locations throughout the world, drawings or designs on pottery found in the oldest known locations of early man, and who does not know about the so called "mythological" creatures known as dragons that make up a sizable portion of early stories and literature. How could those people have known that creatures of that type roamed the earth before mankind? Either they had some form of passed down knowledge or an unusually accurate imagination.

I just answered this question five minutes ago over here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnXxktBikTouufYx28ej9Rvsy6IX?qid=20070724191100AAYvL28&show=7#profile-info-a2kdtl7oaa
Basically, dinosaurs are in the Bible. The word dinosaur was invented in the 1800s, so obviously it isn't found in the Bible. Instead, look for the words "behemoth" and "leviathon". They're in there.
And to those above: the Hebrew word for "day" is one that means 24-hours. No, there were no other people on the Earth before Adam and Eve. The Lord God created the FIRST man, Adam. And yes, dinosaurs lived at the same time as people. There is much evidence to support this.

The Bible is a history of the Hebrew people and not a history of the entire world. The bible does state there were other people here at the time that Adam & Eve were cast out of Eden. The Bible does not say how long the earth had been in existence when Adam was made. The bible does not describe every animal made and it does not try to. The Dinosaurs ceased to exist when winters began. Many believe that Dinosaurs ceased to exist when an asteroid hit the earth. It's explained in geology. However, Dinosaurs had long ceased to exist when Adam came along. In fact, there is nothing to prove that cavemen existed at the time of the dinosaurs, It is not taught that cavemen and dinosaurs could have co-existed. In fact, the existence of cavemen has never been proven, the theory of cavepeople is highly inaccurate.
I hope that helps. You are welcome to email me if you have any other questions.

I believe in the Bible. But I see no reason whatsoever to assume that God created the earth in six 24-hour days in 4004 BC. There is no reason to assume that the author of Genesis intended for the creation account to interpreted as literal history. On the contrary, its use of common ancient Semitic symbolism gives every indication that it was a metaphysical allegory. And even if you read the Bible literally, it actually states that there were other human beings on earth contemporary with Adam and Eve. The very word "Chrubim" was originally the name of an ancient tribe in northern Iran, and not a title for a divine messenger.

Day 5 in Genesis, Larger Animals.
The Bible mostly centers around man. There is no specific talk of a lot of animals by specific names.
It's not a biology book.
By the way did you know one of the foremost experts in Dinosaurs is also a Baptist Preacher and his book details how some of them were probably warm blooded.

There are also no references to squirrels, chipmunks, or hamsters, yet He created them as well.
Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the soul of life according to its kind: cattle, and creepers, and its beasts of the earth, according to its kind. And it was so.
Gen 1:25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to its kind, and cattle according to its kind, and all creepers of the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
There is a reference to what is believed to be a dinosaur in Job 40:15 - 24. If you read the description, I can't think of any other animal that fits this description.

is *dinosaurs* a hebrew word? dinosaurs may very well have still been in existence and described as terrible beasts, or worms, or dragons. after all there are cave paintings, art, etc. that depict creatures that are likely to have been dinosaurs of some type.
so do a word search of any bible and see if the words, dragon, worm, beast, etc. comes up...and there is your answer.

Job 40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
Job 40:16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
Job 40:17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
Job 40:18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
Job 40:19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
Job 40:20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
Job 40:21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
Job 40:22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
Job 40:23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
Psa 104:26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
Isa 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Please notice in Job 40:15 God states, in reference to behemoth, "I made WITH THEE". God made dinosaurs in the Garden of Eden.
I am a Bible believing Christian, I have been to the Chicago Museum of Science and Natural History with my children and taken pictures of my kids in front of Sue. (The largest T-Rex ever discovered). I have no problem facing reality.
I DO HAVE a problem with people who want to say these creatures are MILLIONS of years old: http://icr.org/article/2032/
