I'm pretty sure it works...some people swear by it. I'm not sure how long it takes to work but its a strong acid so it removes dead skin and evens out skin tone. You'll have to really exfoliate though to make it work faster or just leave it in your skin a long time.
Your better bet is just buying a skin lightening cream...watch out for hydroquinone though...it causes skin cancer.

I've been trying that method for about 2 days. I don' expect it to work in 2 days, but so far I'm starting to feel a bleaching effect. But you can't just apply it and wash it off, or it will have no effect. I put it on and leave it on my body for about 20 minutes, to let it "Bleach". After that, I take a cold shower. I recommend you try it better than the skin-lightening creams. The creams could have severe effects on the long run, such as skin cancer or ugly spots. If you do get the skin creams, check to see that they don't contain the ingredient hydrocodone. That can cause skin cancer. I will tell you that using lemon can cause skin irritation though, and you should use a moisturizer after washing it off. But I heard it is one of the strongest natural skin-bleaching agent.

Yes it works. I did it for 6 months every single day and left the lemon juice on my skin for about 10 minutes. And i was more of a tan colour and now i look very pale after using lemon juice on skin. It will have a massive effect trust me. Don't listen to people who say it does not work, it does.
