keep squating..that guy is a dumb#%$@. this the best age to hit the weights. your hormones are super high levels. for someone over 30 would have to use steroids to get the same results you will at your age. take advantage. keep lifting. remeber to give your muscles rest. large muscles like legs need 4-5 days to recover or they wont grow.

Gotta squat to get big, the king of all exercises, that guy is a dumb s*** keep squatting. No other exercise hits your legs as hard or as heavy as barbell squats. Also try high reps like around 12-15 the legs tend to respond better to higher rep frequencies.

Don't do them until you are at least 15. I don't care what these other guys above me say. If your muscles and tendons become too tight too early in life, it will at least hinder you from becoming as tall as you can be.
Hire a trainer to give you the best regimen to enhance your vertical. It wont' cost much and will be worth it if you want it bad enough. Otherwise search the Internet for good routines.
Good Luck!

there is absolutely ZERO medical data that supports statements that heavy resistance training stunts the growth. "people" have been saying this for decades and there is no data at all to support those statements
