Since it seems like the question gets asked what everyone else thinks of us, I'm giving "US" the opportunity to answer back.

Personally? I can get along with everyone, religious or non-religious, I just wish everyone could understand that our differences are what make life exciting. If we all believed the same way, the world would be quite boring.

Everybody believes a certain way to keep an interesting balance in the world. Sometimes that lends itself to creativity, sometimes that lends itself to trying harder to learn how to teach others without preaching. Every flesh is equal in value before God, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ is for everyone.

Totally agree with you!

My opinion on everyone else? oh, I think that everyone is an unique human being that is a child of our Heavenly Father, no matter the religion, race, sex, etc... We should all love and respect each other. I can get along with anyone too, not only Mormons. I am the only Mormon at home, my brother and mom are Catholics, my dad is Pentecostal and the closest people to me are an Atheist uncle (my fav. uncle, he's great), a JW aunt, a Pentecostal aunt, 2 cousins that are believers but have no defined religion and another aunt that is the same way. They are all great, we are all very close and we never fight about it (except for my JW aunt that is always preaching me/us because she thinks we are "wrong" I know that not all JWs are like that, but she is, but we all love her anyways and she loves us too). All my friends are Catholics or just believers, my only Mormon friends are my contacts here, the ones I only see on Sunday in church and the missionaries.

Life would be boring if we would all be the same way, yuk! I hate monotony.

Interesting question...I think I can get along with everyone, too. Basically, I don't see why some people expect others to believe 100% the way they do. That's a little unfair. We're all different and we're all going to interpret things in our own ways.

But I don't hate anyone. I'm glad that we all can practice faith in our own ways.

Props to guitarpicker for posting the 11th Article of Faith...I believe that says it all!

As someone who is going to the Telestial Kingdom, let me say that many LDS people are incredibly nice to me, given that I am going to the TK and all.

Also, props to George for the thought-out answer. It's probably the longest and most relevant answer I've seen him give in awhile.

For the most part, my LDS family does a decent job at accepting me for the Gentile that I am and not making a big deal of it at family meals, etc. Some of them still look at me funny sometimes, or else "talk down" to me, like they have to censor what they say to make sure I'll understand it with my outsider's perspective of the Church/Gospel. All in all though, I think they're pretty accepting.

They sure do try to testify a lot though.

Everyone who's nice is nice, everyone who's mean is mean, you know?

But, not personality-wise, I think that Liberals need to have more constructive things to do and Anti-Mormons/Bible Bashers need to get a life, no offense.

I also think that my two radical evolutionist friends get annoying when they go on and on about their useliess facts about fictional evolution.

But, in general, I get along with almost everyone just fine when we don't talk about our beliefs. The only people I don't get along with are:
1. The people who think my picking-of-the-nose is distgusting.
2. The people who have no self esteem.
3. The people who think they're better than everyone.
4. And the people who are just plain mean.

This gives me the common title, "Social Reject."

I'm fine with everyone having differences on how they think and believe. I do have a little problem with those who don't respect what others believe.

ex-mormon, in t he 70's and 80's in SLC, UT the mormons view of everyone was that a person could have friends as long as they were going to convert, if not, then they were all controled by satan and needed to be left alone.
But we did have hispanic neighbors who were catholic and she made the best homemade tortillas and spanish food ever. I don't know how she survived living with mormons all around her.

oh don't ask me

I like my wife and my kids and like seven other people in the world.

I don't even like most Mormons

So I tolerate other Mormons just as much as everyone else in other religions and what-not.

I believe our 11th Article of Faith says it quite well for me:

We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

They are my brothers and sisters. I love them. Even if we don't agree. :) Some are great and easy to talk to because both sides strive to be informative and respectful and actually listen to the other...Some aren't so great.
