Auto dealership employee discounts?

If I get a low position at a car dealership like a lot attendant do i get a employee discount on a car if so how much?

Depends on the lot/dealership. Some give no discount to employees.

Friends I know that work for dealerships say they need to be there at least a year before they can even think about a discount.

Every employer would set their own rules as regards employee discounts, if any.
