Not religious at all but would love to make the hajj, I have ever since I was a child, I honestly don't know why, first time I saw Mecca in Time magazine I got goose bumps and knew I had to go in person one day. Not Muslim though.

If a person who is NOT a Muslim (or at least professes the faith) enters the city of Mecca they might very well be executed.

Mecca is a "forbidden city."

I thought about it when I was in Sa'udi...
All that would have been necessary would be to proclaim:
"There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is his prophet."

But I have too much respect for the Muslims to sneak a trip by means of chicanery!

Why would anyone want to visit a desert town across the world? We have Las Vegas in the US.

read about it. saw pics of it and the huge xbox. I wouldnt mind seeing it as a tourist but not as a religious passage.
