The purpose of college is to expose you to the environments and choose then .
There is no way to have a realistic view in high school (unless you say , already work in a hospital and just know you want to be a doctor) .
Take the business classes and engineering classes .
Get part time jobs at those locations .
Experience is the way to choosing what will work for you .

First relax you are only a sophomore in high school. Those are the same king of questions many college students are saying as they graduate.
Talk to a Guidance counselor and maybe a relative whom you seem to like their profession.
What ever you take in college make sure you get some classes in Business management which will be good for any path you take. Even the sciences and engineering need money management back grounds if you plan on moving up in your organization or business you need that kind of knowledge.

The really great news is that you don't have to decide now. If you think engineering might be a career path, make sure you get the most out of your high school math classes. Also, you can take any business/financial management classes your high school offers. That might give you some clue as to what you want to do in the future, but if it doesn't, don't worry about it. Your first semester or two of college, take core studies with a few classes that seem interesting or compelling. As you meet people in the various majors, you can sound them out on what all's out there. Who knows, one of them could lead you down a previously unthought of path.
Good luck! I envy your journey...

Brandon, sit down and write out ten things you love doing the most, now look at them and see if any of them can be put into a business....go to yahoo and type in different careers and you will find websites to all kinds of different careers..write which ones strike your fancy..also find some career tests that show you careers you are suited for...you will get a pattern running and find out soon enough...
