EVERYTIME I WORKOUT, I TAKE A SHAKE MIXED WITH CARBS AND PROTEIN. BUT AFTER I HAVE MEAN GAS, AND NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM ALOT!! IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD TAKE. ANY TIPS WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKS!

what brand of shakes are you taking? what kind of carbs? dextrose? the best thing would be to eat real food after a workout. if you cant get a meal replacement drink. this might be better than mixing a carb and protien shake.

you need to find a protein supplement that is a whey protein isolate. all of the lactose, ash and other non-essential substances are removed in the manufacturing process. if that doesn't work then just use either egg white protein or soy protein isolates.

id have to disagree, real food doesn't digest fast enough for proper post workout nutrition.

If you are mixing the drink with milk, try using water instead.
