Sorry, I do not waste my time or "product" in this practically useless practice. Studies have shown that, for the most part, little to no infections or illnesses are ever contracted through contact with toilet seats. Our SKIN is what contacts the seat's surface, and our skin is a very effective barrier to infections... unless there is some break in the skin. If you are "regular" about your own personal hygene (bath/shower regularly) there is little chance any bacteria/germs can "migrate" their way through the skin to infect us. Furthermore, like it or not, urine is sterile... it contains no bacteria/germs/etc. So, to sit on a seat that has any urine from someone else is not a major source of bacteria. In fact, you can "contact" MORE bacteria from another person by shaking their hand!

Here's some useless trivia regarding urine: If you are ever stuck where you need water, you can drink your own urine, but only for a day or so, because the urine will eventually become "concentrated" as the body uses more of the fluids. But, in a pinch, and for the sake of survival, it can be drunken. Also, did you know that Gandhi drank a glass of his own urine every day of his life.... he felt it had "healthful" effects. Go figgr!

Have a great day!

Always. And if the restroom doesn't provide them, I line the seat with toilet paper. If the restroom doesn't have toilet paper, I carry toilet seat covers and toilet paper in my purse. I know I'm more likely to get germs from putting my hand on a door handle, but the idea of putting my rear end on a thing that has touched someone else's rear end unnerves me.

Yes, I do, although I read in a magazine somewhere that they're really not necessary. A woman who was supposed to be an expert of sorts on things like germs and such said you've a greater chance of getting sick by kissing your boyfriend than kissing a toilet seat. However, not using them, for me, is still gross. Period.

No, I hover over the seat. Frankly, I try to avoid public restrooms whenever possible.

I use 4 of them at one time. And I still try not to sit on the toilet. I also try to remember to carry the anti-bacterial wipes so I can wipe it down before I put the protective sheets on.

Okay, this is getting personal, but I love those things. I hate it when they don't have them. I've always covered the seat with TP-- ( fitting something straight onto something round requires a lot of artistry.)

No I do not, I just squat and hope that all makes it in:) It is the truth but I always am to make sure I make it in and if I miss I always clean up afterwards.

If they're available, yes. If not, then I use toilet paper to line the seats on both sides and *carefully* sit down ;-)

If I absolutely need to sit down, then of course. But if it's a "sit-down" situation, I try my darndest to get to my own toilet. Other than that, it's just easier (and probably most hygienic) to use the "hovercraft" method. Why let your bum touch anything it doesn't need to touch? :-)
