nobody can answer that for certain. nobody knows.
Why?
You have to die to find out. Once that happens, it's tough (impossible) to report back with your findings.

Yes there is an eternal life after death in line with islamic teaching.Allah the only one God spoke in the holy Qu'an that one day this universe will be collapsed as it is called kiamat. At that time this world with all of its contents will be perished/destroyed..At the resurrection day God will wake up all the dead persons and we will be brought into a fair anf final God's judge. In line with our good deeds as a discherge of Islam obligation and the wrong deeds which were not complied to the God's life guide (holy Qur'an and Hadith) and whether we have asked God'forgiveness or not,God will select us and bring us into heaven(more good doings) or hell(more bad doings). All our doings in this world everyday had been recorded by angels with the instruction of God.We can not be dishonest in the God's final judge because our hands, legs, ears and other part of our body will be the objective witnesses.
Our spirits or souls when we died are brought by angels to Allah and then given back to our burried bodies for preliminary rewards or punishment before we will bring into heaven or hell. These spirits were sitting in a waiting room that is called alam barzakh. before resurrection day..These conditions spoken by Allah in the holy Qur'an and explained by Muhammad pbuh in his Hadith. As a good muslim and have a strong faith I should believe on it although there is no evidence that can be seen by our eyes.

A prominent feature of Egyptian worship was belief in an afterlife. This belief found expression in the practice of embalming the dead and in the erection of huge tombs to honor them.
A preoccupation with the idea of life after death and reincarnation recently resulted in the suicide of a 16-year-old boy and serious injury to his 15-year-old girl friend. Friends related how the two had “jokingly” discussed suicide plans with other youths in Washington State after reading a book that dealt with the subject of afterlife. The youths devised a “fantasy” plan in which two of them would die by crashing a sports car into their school, thus moving on to a “higher plane of existence.”
Of course, such a reaction to the idea of life after death is extreme. But it illustrates the mental bondage of millions who unquestioningly accept such teachings because they are part of their religious background, rather than because they are founded on Scriptural teaching. On the other hand, Jesus said that adherence to the Word of truth would ‘set men free.’ He taught his disciples the same truth that was expressed in God’s Word centuries before: “The dead . . . are conscious of nothing at all.” Knowing this might have spared the youths this tragedy.—John 8:32; Eccl. 9:5.

Yes there is life after death, you have an intelligence which cannot be destroyed. Just becuase your heart stops does this stop your intelligence of course not. It continues, and if you must know your intelligence existed before you were born. Yes you cant remember this but deep down it rings of truth doesnt it.

The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but eternal life so glorious that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to the earth to give us this gift of eternal life. “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Jesus took on the punishment that each of us deserves and sacrificed His very life. Three days later, He proved Himself victorious over death by rising from the grave, in Spirit and in flesh. He remained on the earth for forty days and was witnessed by thousands before rising to His eternal home in heaven. Romans 4:25 says, “He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised from the dead to make us right with God.”

Absolutely.
The Wicked go to hell and eternal "death".
The Righteous dwell in heaven in eternal "life".
None are righteous, except for the one who came from heaven.
The one who came from heaven paid the debt of "death" for the wicked.
Those who turn from wickedness to receive that payment from the one who came from heaven are received into eternal life and taken to his dwelling in a place we call the heaven and given permanent addresses there.

No. There is no spirit world. Instead of worrying about these things, why not join the world you are currently residing in?
