I like biscuit best. (I work in a vet clinic and half of the labs that come in are named Harlee, way to popular I think)

something with the "ee" sound at the end usually works best. Our older dogs name was originally Sasha but eventually it changed to Pipper and now we call her Pippie (note the ee sound). Our puppy's name was originally Colton, but it's since changed to Scooter, and we always call him Scootie (ee!)
