... at work, although there is nothing playing it, in my heart I am starting to truly believe that the written word of Allah is the truth and I was wondering how others felt ( not about MY CHOICE in relgion) about becoming muslim or being muslim. Any rude answers will be reported and thumbs downed.

To be honest I do not know the entire prayer "ritual"? ( am I using the right word) or all the words, an while I know Allah will accept anything from a pure heart, I feel it shows respect to pray as he has taught

Then go! Seriously - you don't need anyone else's approval for your choice of religious path. If it works for you - good. If not, try something else.

Something tells me that you have a lot of interest in Islam. Many revert Muslims have converted after hearing the Ezan (call to prayer) in mysterious ways. I believe that Allah (God) is sending you a message. That it is time. I truly have a lot of faith in you. If you are hearing the Ezan without it playing anywhere, that is a wonderful sign..I hope you make the right decision and convert. I will not pressure you, take your time, and good luck! I'm also glad that you saw through the media's scheme and its goal to undermine Islam. I'm very proud of you for that. It takes a devoted, intelligent person like you to realize that the media is misleading and bias.

It is said that Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on the moon, hear the Ezan playing on the moon. He converted to Islam shortly afterward...isn't that a miracle?

Do you know the first man that called Athan Bilayl gave his life and his soul to Allah no matter what they did to him he would not stop saying ONE GOD ONE GOD... his life is enough for you to return to salat inshAllah..Take Allah SWT with you, and return home in peace and Halal to Allah SWT.
I made prayer room in the house, it reminds me no matter what its part of the house... and there is athan on the cpu you can get I will post the link for you in the source section. Asr prayer is about the only one you have to hit right on time and can't miss the rest are able to be made up... but its not commonly done everyday its only on special circumstances.. the religion is very easy and balanced.. lets say you where caring for 2 children and one of them is a bit over energetic lets say, Allah knows your taking care of them, and when they are sleeping you go to Allah.. that is what I mean by Take Allah SWT with you and go to Allah SWT in your home in plac of peace... I rather pray in peace than pray in haste..

I am not trying to be rude, but I used to live next to a mosque and I think the call for prayers was to noisy and annoying especially that I have (enforced to)to hear it 5 times a day. I am an atheist now. l

I think that is wonderful. Islam is a very beautiful religion, in fact, I have been contemplating it as well. Allahu Akbar seems to ring in the ears. The Quran has so much beauty in it.
