I have been starting to drink about 9 cups a day and i am a 14 year old girl

No. No calories in water. 8 or 9 cups a day sounds okay. There are calories in most soft drinks, however!

On a whole no, you may gain some water weight but drinking water helps to regulate your body and will help you lose weight.

Nope! Water is very good for your body and essential to your health... Sometimes we feel hungry and were not because our body needs water and is asking for a drink... If we dont quench it, chances are we end up eating instead and add unneccesary cals to our diet... so no, drinking water will not make you gain weight. IN this hor weather, it is esspecially neccessary and know you are doing a wonderful job keeping your body healthy!!!

no it helps but u loose even more weight if the water is cold because when u drink cold water ur body has to heat it up so it can use that water and to heat the water up it needs to burn calories

no, you lose it not gain it, if you drink soda or sugary things it will make you gain weight even if you are drinking water, just drink plain water, no sugary flavors, just water, water is good when you try to lose cellulite

water contains no calories so it can not cause an increase in body fat. drinking or eating anything will of course cause the total bodyweight to increase.

the body fat % is all that matters, the total bodyweight is irrelevant
