The answer to a question like this really depends on your perception of deity and what you think deity can and will do. I don't think God can just go "poof" and get rid of famine, illness, disease, etc... Or that he can go "poof" and suddenly the environment is well again. Nor can he go "poof" and make the world a peaceful place.
However - I do believe God can, by It's very nature, create and destroy by the very nature of its being. So I think God's answer to fixing what we've messed up ourselves, would be to naturally send a giant meteor hurling through space toward Earth. Destroy it - wait for the natural cycle of this universe to complete, and start over. Either that - or give wisdom or insight to humans so they can fix their own messes.
So if I were God - that's probably what I'd do.

I don't know. I wouldn't be a good steward of it, that's for sure. Only if I had God's wisdom too would that be a good thing for me to have God's power.

We DO have Access to the Power of GOD.
The Body of Christ.
The Church.
Can Access GOD's Power.
We will just have to Wait to See what we do with that Power.

I would soften the heart of Howard Stern and pour the Holy Spirit upon him to see the error of his ways so he would accept Jesus into his heart. This way one of the greatest foolish leaders of perversion would have a great testimony to reach many he has corrupted.
I would right many wrongs that oppress the humble and integrity of up right followers. I would pour the Holy Spirit upon the followers so they did not have to fight against their sinful nature as much as they do.

Isn't it amazing that we prefer to let God keep that kind of power, because only God can handle it. Man doesn't have the intelligence to handle it.

people would abuse that power. look at the world and how it is right now? what makes you think anything would get any better? i think things would get worse.
