I went to get a perm one day, and it didn't exactly go the way it should have----it ended up being a nightmare!!!
My hairdresser, Michelle, washed my hair and started combing it out. I just sat there and waited for the next step. Eventually, I noticed that she was taking an awfully long time to comb my hair out. I mean, I had a lot of hair, but it shouldn't take 10 minutes to comb it, and she was going over the same sections over and over. After another 5 minutes or so, she said, "Erin, did you know you have head lice?"
I wanted to sink into the floor and die!!!!!!!!!
She was really nice about it, and even ran to WalMart to buy head lice shampoo and used it on me and all, but I was absolutely mortified anyway!!!

When I was about 9 years old, there was this guy I really had a crush on. I tried to flirt with him all year, and I guess it was no secret that I liked him. On the last day of school, the teacher asked me to sing a song in front of the class, since I have a very pretty voice. I've always been very shy in person, but I can sing in public with little problem. Once I've managed to get the first few notes out, I just fade into my own little world and let the music come.

Well, anyway, before I started to sing, when I was still nervous, I looked at him for assurance. I guess that was rather dumb of me, but what did anyone expect? I was 9 years old and he meant the world to me at the time. He smiled, nodded and chuckled nervously and that was all I needed.

When I finished my song and came back to reality, his face was beet red and all of his friends were snickering. He never spoke to me again. To this day, I don't remember what I did, although I was told that my eyes were on him the whole time, as if it was him I was singing to. Worst moment of my life, when I found out:( I didn't sing in public for about five years after that, and then, it was in church where I could fix my gaze on my mom and dad.

First time in a lesbian club, I'm picking up my friend who's way to smashed to drive. She excused herself to go to the ladies room; all of a sudden these two fine examples of womanhood step out on the dance floor and share a kiss that was so passionate half the room stopped moving when they finished they both looked at me and as the only man in the place I got caught staring. The pair giggled as the walked off knowing that I'd be um "stuck" to the spot for a couple of minutes five minutes to be exact.

Embarrassment unending as I made a slow and painful march to the exit.

When I was much younger (about 18) I went to Washington DC on vacation. We walked around town for hours going towards the White House. All of a sudden I needed to find a bathroom, but with no luck. Well, to make a long story short, I peed across the street from the White House, in the park. I thought Secret Service would shoot me, but nothing happened.

It was lunch time in the middle of school and I was standing at my lunch table with all of my friends, moving my arms and jerking them around, telling a story. I'm a vivid story teller, I get my hands going and I move my body to express my level of anger, happiness - whatever it is. A friend of mine runs over, pulls down my skirt, and there I am.. in my thong and a tank top, in the middle of the caf. I could have died...

As if that wasn't bad enough.. my other friend Carl stands up and says, "HEY! Hey!" As the caf. begins to settle down, "Ashlee has something to show you," and he pushed me into the janitor.

:( It was the most embarrassing moment of my entire life, but I learned a very important lesson: Payback is a b*tch.
