When did we invade Iran?

Because if we haven't invaded Iran, and if our forces aren't engaged on Iranian soil with Iranian military, "defeat" is impossible. We're not fighting the Iranian army in Iraq. So Iran cannot claim a victory. You cannot lose a battle you are not in.

If you would use a little of the useless gray matter hiding in you're head, you would come to realize the obvious, that is, no matter how well trained, and how much advanced military equipment you have, you cannot defeat an unseen enemy, which is what we are against in Iraq.
The "freedom fighters" as you call them, may be just that, much the same as those that fought against Hitler, but unless they are in uniform, one has no idea who the enemy might be, so unless you kill everyone in sight, you will be defeated, and the sooner Bush learns this fact, the more our men will be safe and returned home.
Our men are not being defeated by Iran, Iraq or any other country, our defeat comes from within, Bush's poor handling and misunderstanding of the war, and underestimating the desire of theIraqi's to get us the hell out of their country.

Well the US toppled their dictatorship, and brought the dictator to justice. They along with the Iraqi military and police have gained control of over 90% of the country. They have captured almost every top guy in their terrorist networks. They pretty much have wiped their own a$$e$ with the so called "glorious freedom fighters." The cowards hide among the population which is why it has taken the US so long to rid the world of their exsistence. Oh they are mighty alright.

Glorious Iran? I remember reading a story about protesters upset over high gas prices in Iran. You own the oil, but have to send it to us for refining. Glorious indeed. Also, Iran has denied involvement in Iraq numerous times publicly, so Iran isn't doing anything to the US military. I would also like to remind you that Iraq had the 4th largest military in the world, and US forces routed them in 4 days on their way to Baghdad. I'd really like to see the "Glorious freedom fighters" go head to head against our military, simply because I take joy in watching people like you proven wrong.

Its harder to defend a country that wont help itself then be a coward and attack US solders trying to help a country and run away like Bic#s when they get shot at. Its all ways easier to attack a military that in a country day in day out then terrorists that come and go across the Iran border.Who said we where defeated, I don't see Iran controlling Iraq, don't be scared where coming for Iran in due time.

Easy.... Our morals do not allow for us to wipe every city in the country out of existence. We do not kill women and children to show our "strength and dedication to Allah" We punish OUR soldiers for breaking OUR laws, instead of worshiping them. When these "Glorious freedom fighters" stash their weapons and quit fighting, the U.S. can withdraw. Then these freedom fighters will get what they want and can claim victory and then go back to fighting to get the government that they want in place. Good luck with that though. Oh yea, before you mention the American revolution. We were fighting our own government at that time, for our own rights, something these "Glorious freedom fighters" were to scared to do.

Well, I guess Iraq is doing pretty well. Yeah, Americas covered with AKs and towel heads.
We'd experience more casualties in a day in WWII than we have in Iraq. Saddam has been overthrown, what are you talking about?

Well, we haven't "officially" gone to war yet with Iran, so we'll just have to see what happens.

The US military isn't being defeated in Iraq.
President Bush and his short-sighted, idiotic plans are being defeated, largely because they aren't suited for military goals.
The US has the most capable military in the world. But, even the best weapon is only as good as the person who wields it.
