also, will there be any markings on the box that would advertise that there is alcohol inside.

Yes, when they deliver it to you the person who is carrying the box has to check your ID before they can leave it in your possession.
Most likely, there would not be markings showing what is inside, but every company you order from is different so you can't be sure.

I don't know about alcohol- We order cigars and you have to fill out the info on the website, but nobody IDs you to receive the package. The boxes are marked by the cigar company. We use Thompson's Cigars, and a few others. The company name is on the box or return label.
Never ordered alcohol through mail.....

Beware of what you order on line. Yes, they will check ID.
Recently a man (in my community) was arrested for ordering Valium on line. When the package arrived, the cops, and US Marshall's were there!
So, if you are thinking this is a good way to score because you are under age.....think again!

NOT A GOOD MOVE!!

Yes and Yes - additionally not all states and provinces allow the import of alcohol and cigarettes - some even charge a "sin tax' so if you thought it would be easier or cheaper you are way off base.

Reputable sources require that you must first log in which will provide them with your payment method plus alot of info from which they easily determine if you legally qualify to purchase their products...They are able to determine it for all states they deliver to.. am positive that any such deliveries are restricted only to the registered purchaser who must personally provide identification and sign for receipt of the item...The vendor can answer all such questions on line, and by email..

I do not know about alcohol, but before I could even get coupons for Marlboro, Winstons and Basic Cigs I had to send them a copy of my ID

I don't think they do, normally they'll use UPS or something similar to ship it. They don't know what's inside the box unless the name of the place on the return address says something.

The box will say what's in it, and sometimes the deliveryman asks for an ID so have it with you.
