God doesn't expect you to be perfect, and all he wants is a personal life with you. He wants you to be able to talk with him, and seek guidance through him. You seem very confused. Try your best to follow the ten commandmensts. Nobody expects us to be perfect (as Christians) but God does expect us to try our very best and seek guidance through him. He knows how you feel, and that you lie everyday. If you don't find Church fun maybe it's time for you to go to a different church with more possibilities and activities that will interest you. My suggestion would be try switching Churches, and ask God to help you with your walk with him. "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)

Nobody said that you can't look at beautiful women. The tenth commandment says" Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors goods. Also includes wife or anything that belongs to him. This means you should not wish to have her for your own, you should not be jealous of him for the things that he possesses. Don't desire to sleep with her or want her for yourself. Lust. But to look at her, or to think that she is attractive is not a sin. Everybody sins sometimes, if we did not we would be perfect and nobody on this earth has ever lived that was perfect but Jesus Christ. If you are confused and want to really know about God then you will have to discipline yourself and do exactly what you say you don't like to do. Go to Church and go study the bible and talk to a priest about catechism. It's the only way. Sometimes the best things for us are the things we don't want to do. Yet, we find that when we do these things they can turn out to be very rewarding. After all there could never be anything more rewarding than eternity in Heaven. Do the right thing. It will pay off in the end.

What is the most satisfied you have ever been with or about anything? Try to imagine being more satisfied than that all the time. That is what happens when you focus your attention on The Spirit of truth within you. God gave you this precious gift for the purpose of making sure your needs are met. Chances are very good that you have needs that are not being fulfilled. Once you are satisfied it will be only natural for you to want others to be satisfied as well. Being a part of helping others to become satisfied fulfills another of our needs.

Following God is not a matter of being perfect, or even a good person. None of us are "good people"...we may do good things, we may even refrain from doing some bad things, but none of us are truly good. What God wants is a relationship with you. As you grow closer to Him, HE will work IN you to make these commandments possible to follow. If you do not WANT to follow Him, you won't. And He won't force you. But He loves you, and would love nothing more than to help you become more like Him, able to follow His Word. Invest time and thought in reading the Bible for yourself (Romans is a GREAT book) not just in church, and take some time to really talk to God. You don't have to know a prayer to recite. He would love to hear from you, no matter what you say. Whether you are praying love and adoration for Him, or confusion, hurt and emptiness, He loves to hear from you and see that you truly acknowledge Him and your need for Him. Whatever you do, don't stop pursuing Him! It is worth every bit of effort and energy you have! God bless!

You are right! You cannot stop sinning. We are born with a sin nature. We are all sinners. But God loved us and sent His Son to pay for our sins. WHen we accept Christ as our Savior, we are saved and declared not guilty. This also makes us become God's own child. We will still sin, but we can be forgiven.
Get your Bible and read John and Romans. Find a Pastor to talk to- try a Baptist church's pastor. They are very kind and understanding.
You are in my prayers.

Well, you can't expect to follow God well if you don't want to go to church even.
Once you start wanting to know God and Jesus more, you'll find it easier to follow all of his laws. And it IS humanly possible to not lie every day, or look at other men's wives.
You can't be sin free all the time, but that is what repentence is for.

To accept christ in our life
1. By looking for the good of others and things, now you have to use common sense on this also..
your going to hate this one..
2. Truth for good.. remember God is truth and to do and practice is to serve and minister to God and his Spirit.. now 99% of your trth is no ones business..
3. and righteousness to others..
All the above is not an over kill.. but we must practice and do..
To do the above is to accept the Spirit of Christ into our lives..
To confess Christ
We must stand against evil that is done to a person or thing..
and this is to confess christ in your life..
no religion, any religion if you do the above God is in you and with you
good luck and God blesss.

You're opening a real can of worms asking people on here how you can follow God's path.
I'd say you sound like a decent person with a conscience. I'd say that ranks you above many so-called "religious" people.

I do think you are a troll, however I will answer your question.
I believe it was Jesus who said that you don't have to go to church to worship the Lord.
