when you leave food in a fridge in the employee lounge at work with your name on it and nasty people eat it anyway what would you do to get even?

My wife has had this problem and I have suggested that she plant some sabotaged food for the thief. Spike some food or drink with hot sauce or laxatives or something. They will get what they deserve.

Getting even is the same as getting revenge....it doesn't accomplish anything and can create more animosity than you need. Find out who is taking the food and talk with them. If this doesn't work, take it to a company meeting and hope for the best.

Other then wonder if some one has decided to contaminate it I guess, that some one was hungerier then you were. And maybe keeping your food in a community fridge isn't such a great idea. Get yourself a cooler pack and keep your lunch in your locker.

Taking revenge doesnt solves anything . Most of the time it increases your problem. So next time find out who is doing it and talk to them but it may not solve your problem.
So the safest answer is dont keep it in fridge, finish it.

Lol maybe empty the fridge of everything, or bring tin food and unplug the fridge. Or call the police and have them show up for a theft, that will scare people.

I'd bake some lovely brownies with ex-lax in them. (But I wouldn't put my name on the container. I heard of someone who got fired for pulling a stunt like that in a similar situation.)

I would whip up a batch of some yummy homemade brownies, add a little Ex-Lax, and you'll soon learn who's doing it.

put a booger on it. better yet, leave a sign on it that says something to the likes of,
"i've rubbed this coke can on my butt, I've licked this sandwich top to bottom, i've hawked a loogie on the salad, wanna bite?"
