Im trying to dial a 310 to Culver City number but it wont let me dial from my cell phone or home phone. I even dial a 1 before the area code. Im dialing from the 818 to the 310. Whats wrong here??

ok nevermind everybody! i must have not pressed the 1 stronger on my phones. i tried the 1 and the area code and number and it went thru.

If you dial i.e........1-310-555-5555 it should go thru. The key is that "1" in the front of the other 7 digits. I live in the 310 area code and to even call across the street I have to dial
1-310-555-5555. A pain, but am now used to it.

Did you dial 1 in front of the number. Not sure if it works, give it a try.
