Here are two that were given to me, when I recently asked a similar question:

http://www.sharedtalk.com/

and

http://www.loquella.com

both seem like very good sites. Good luck with your studies--wish me luck, too...:)

Edit: I forgot to mention that I started out at:

http://www.about.com

where they will email you a lesson a day, or a lesson a week. If you prefer, you can do all of your studying on-site.

Additionally, I checked out, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Learning French," (book & CD) from the library. I also checked out the text, "French the Easy Way."

I do something from each every day. It's going slower than I expected--but it's been many years since I took French in school.

I have changed my keyboard to Canadian international--which uses some of the keys for French accent marks. I have also put my Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL email accounts in French. (On Yahoo, you just go to your personal info. and change the language there. For the others, you go to Internet Explorer, press 'start', select 'settings', choose 'control panel', and then select 'Regional Options').

*Canadian International keyboard is better than French (France), because on that many letters are different, and it's hard to type).
