It is normal for puppies to play bite. He's a little old for it, but if bite inhibition isn't trained early than he wouldn't know any better.
Please check out this article. It helped immensly in training our dog acceptable bite pressure and that we don't want him to bite. Remember it's just a normal doggy thing, but we have to teach them how to live by our human rules, which don't include biting :)

Absolutely not. Puppies should be taught to stop mouthing/biting by 10-12 weeks old. You have a biting problem and need to see professional training advice.

I have a three your old lab mix who still play bites. Its not so much biting as simply grabbing my hand with her mouth. I think its really her way of getting my attention and showing affection. If it is not harmful or hurtful to you or anyone else or anything I don't really think you should worry about it. Dogs don't have hands, so they use their mouths instead.

Teething continues until about 12 months; provide acceptable chew toys such as kongs and nylabones for this. When the dog begins to chew/bite something inappropriate, firmly say "no bite" and hand it something that is OK to chew.
Biting you (as in during play) should NOT be permitted; your pet needs to learn what is called bite inhibition.

Absolutely not! This dog needs some obedience training. Correct him when he does it. Be consistent and persistent. Unfortunately, he's been allowed to get away with for 8 months or more now. Bad behaviors are better prevented than cured.

You really shouldn't let a dog play bite you, even when they're little. To teach him to stop... whenever he starts to bite on you, hold his mouth shut (not hard, just lightly... most will even let you do it with no problem) and firmly tell him "NO!". I even used to tell mine "no biting!". If he already knows 'no' than all the better.

a hunting dog will not stop biting you until you let him know that is not the way to behave. do not ever hit him but use a strong no and give him a toy when he plays with it let him know he is a good boy.

It may be normal but you need to make him stop. When he bites tell him "no biting" and give him a slight tap on the nose. Get him some chew toys to satisfy his urge to bite.

Probably because he bits when you play with him, all dogs do and some will continue to till they grow quite old. Its nothing to worry about unless his attacking people or something. But if his doing it in a playful manner its ok.
